Rod and Reel Pub
The Rod and Reel Village Pub is located in the centre of the highland village of Crianlarich. Long regarded by climbers and walkers as a popular rendezvous, the Rod and Reel is a family-run, friendly village bar and restaurant. We offer good value home cooked food, snacks and drinks throughout the day.
The Rod and Reel is located in the centre of the village of Crianlarich, nestled beneath Ben More, and is the ideal place to unwind after a hard day on the hills, fishing, or walking the West Highland Way. We have a large outdoor patio, as well as an indoor restaurant and bar area. Whether you are looking for a relaxed meal, coffee & a cake, or a pint (or more ...), the Rod and Reel will make you welcome.
Babies and children are very welcome in our restaurant area, and well-behaved dogs are permitted in the bar.
Our well stocked bar includes a good range of malt whiskies, and is a great place to swap tales of your day - the fish that got away, or the challenges of your climb! You may even be able to pick up a bit of local knowledge, to help you plan your next days activities.
We sell fishing permits for the local stretch of the River Fillan, and are also the only place in Crianlarich where you can get the official stamp for your "West Highland Way Logbook".
We are open all year, and invite walking / fishing clubs to contact Lesley or Liz to book for that special occasion.
